HTC Amaze 4G

The HTC Amaze 4G is now available on T-Mobile. While it lacks the Beats branding and buds' of its European counterpart, the Amaze 4G is able to surf T-Mobiles HSPA+ airwaves. Powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor the Amaze 4G is undeniably fast. However its 4.3 inch qHD is subpar and is dull compared to other modern phones. The Amaze 4G is solidly constructed with aluminum wrapping and soft  touch plastics. Its 8 megapixel optics are exceptional and deliver great stills and 1080p video recording. Like most other recent HTC phones the Amaze runs on Android 2.3.4 with Sense 3.0. While otherwise a spectacular device, its real liability is its battery life. Even when compared to the most demanding of its competitors, the three to four hour battery life is simply abysmal, and to many, unforgivable. Find the HTC Amaze 4G on T-Mobile for a whopping $260.
