Palm Pre 2 Available

The only device to run WebOS 2.0 and Palm's first device after being acquired by Hewlett-Packard is now available to order on HP's website. It is listed at $450 unlocked and will ship within 24 hours. For those of you not willing to spend $450, we suggest you to wait and see if it comes to any US carriers that will likely subsidize the price to a more affordable price point. From what we've seen WebOS 2.0 is promising, physically the Palm Pre 2 looks exactly like its predecessor, albeit with a new 1GHz processor. We do hope Palm comes out with something more high end soon.

Official: Dell Inspiron Duo

The Dell Inspiron Duo has finally been announced. It will be available the first week of December and converts from a 10.1" netbook to a tablet. It will cost $549 which will get you a Intel Atom dual core processor (N550), a 1366x768 high resolution screen, 2 GB of RAM, 250GB of storage and Windows 7 Home Premium (not Starter, that's for regular netbooks). It also has Dells' Duo Stage UI which launches automatically in tablet mode.
